Wow blizzard launcher not updating
You could also try to do the same but start your windows in Safe Mode with Network and run the installer. In the months ahead, the game launchers for World of Warcraft, Star Craft II, and Diablo III will be automatically updated to our new desktop app for Battle.net, designed to improve the launcher experience and streamline your ability to play Blizzard games—but if you’re interested in upgrading now, you can!Your solution really did work because i can see it downloading now, so thanks alot man! I have been doing this for about an hour, following each step over and over...maybe it's something else for me because it still just won't work =( Hope it works for everyone else, maybe I'll find something that works for me! reset everything (uninstalled etc) followed the steps EXACTLY as they are posted and it worked.
Please note that it’s entirely up to you whether you wish to leave the app running—you can exit it at any time, and it will automatically re-launch whenever your standard launchers would. Once the open beta test ends, everyone’s launcher will be updated automatically when they start up the launcher for World of Warcraft, Star Craft II, or Diablo III.I actually have no idea why this fixed it, but this was the only thing I did. So sticky to not flood the forums with the same threads.I went to bed last night almost ready to give up on this, but i figured i'd try again today and see if Blizz fixed the problem, but it was the same as last night.Pre 4.0.1, this feature was available via the file located in the main Wo W folder. When Blizzard switched to the Streaming client in 4.0.1, the function of the file switched to repairing only the .exe, and other minor files located in the main Wo W folder - the only way to repair game data was to log into the game, and have the client stream non-corrupted data.
